This was a strange experience. I wanted two regular old toilets installed and was quickly given a decent quote and timely installation. Straight away noticed that both toilet seats wouldn’t stay up and that one of the toilets began leaking pretty much straight away. When I looked it was apparent that the seal was really poorly fitting. I texted and phoned but was never heard from again. I’m not normally someone who jumps online to bag people out but I’m just a bit miffed as to what went on here.

Engaged Nick to replace and install new ducted heating in my investment property. He finished the job and “promised” me new heater is working and all rooms are wamed up. After tenants moved in they reported a completely opposite story – not all rooms get the heat. Guess what, now Nick avoids my calls and runs away from his warranty responsibility. Unreliable and Dishonest. STAY AWAY and read other low ratings before engaging – they are genunine.

Nick is incredibly generous, detailed, focused on the job and also cares about the social interaction. You don’t feel like a number or some job to ‘get through’ before he goes back home. Nick loves plumbing. And it’s genuine too – 20 years experience in the plumbing game and thanks to my real estate agent – I’ve by sheer luck come across Nick.Our story is – we had the detector inspector visit and they found some kind of gas leak YESTERDAY. This was late afternoon/evening YESTERDAY. We had no hot water or gas, Nick already had his day planned out by re-scheduled the whole day so he could focus on the leak issue at our apartment. And this whole experience was A+ all the way.Quality of the job, care of giving me focused attention when we’re conversing. I made an appointment with him on Friday evening and he showed up on time the next day on a Saturday out of normal business hours, which is quite rare these days. Honestly I really want to thank NRJ plumbing for a profession service. I was in a state of not knowing what to do when both my toilets were completely blocked due to an issue in the sewers. Finding a good Tradesman isn’t always easy or a great experience but dealing with Nick was a great exception. I called Nick on Saturday morning after waking up with our Hot Water Service on the blink. Nick was able to get me sorted and back up and running by Sunday. It would have been easy for Nick to fob me off or charge an excessive call out fee but instead he to the time and effort to work through my problem and get me sorted and our system up and running. We contracted Nick to install 3 back to wall toilets mid June and at another property we used him to fix a leaky pipe at outdoor tap end of May. We contacted him re toilets as they were installed incorrectly and we exhausted our efforts to have him return. Tap was still leaking and in the first instance he declined that he even did the job until we emailed him his invoice and payment. Plumber came today and has done a full report of the butchered job and fixed both jobs And are now all working. That’s 1400.00 totally down the drain. You did this job ….don’t come back and deny both doing the job or that you ignored all our calls and in the end text messages. DO NOT USE. I am even doubting the authenticity of these 5 star reviews…….update! As you can see Nick has responded….I am Tony’s wife placing this review! Don’t believe a word in his reply!!!! We paid in good faith and on the day that toilets were installed and before we realised that toilets leaked and were not fixed properly. We have lodged a complaint with Consumer affairs Victoria. read all other 1 star reviews……..

It was clear from the outset that Nick was prepared to go above and beyond to ensure our safety. We contacted NRJ Plumbing on a Sunday morning after our carbon monoxide alarm went off (yikes!). We have had 2 previous plumbers come out to fix our blocked kitchen sink and pipes issues. Both were so useless and only took our money and provided no fixes. For years we had to deal with blocked pipes. Nick was recommended by a friend. Nick wasted no time and found the problem. It took him only a couple of hours to fix our problem.
